About SingTel Magix

Internet at its fastest. That is what SingTel Magix is all about. Using the hi-speed multimedia modem which uses ADSL technology, SingTel Magix makes Net surfing a lot faster and convenient. You can access the Net at speeds of up to 512 kbps, much faster than an ordinary 56kbps modem. You can also download and transfer files and multimedia content much faster. Also since SingTel Magix provides you with a direct connection, you do not have to share the bandwidth with other users, which means your Net surfing speeds will not be affected when other users log on. Furthermore, SingTel Magix enables you to use your phone and fax while the modem is running.

SingTel Magix also provides access to Singapore ONE, the world's first nationwide broadband network that delivers a new level of interactive multimedia applications and services to everyone in Singapore. E-commerce, on-line shopping, home banking and distance learning are all made possible with Singapore ONE.

Videoconferencing is now available on Magix. Users can share ideas and information face to face using their PCs. They can also share applications and view the actions of other users working on the programme.
