I cannot surf the Internet

Browser Type : Netscape Communicator 4.5 and above

Proxy Setting

  1. Launch the Netscape Communicator Program
  2. From the main Windows , select "Edit" > "Preferences..."



  3. You should see a dialog window appears as shown below



  4. From the left window , go to "Advanced" option ( last option )
  5. Double click onto the "Advanced" option to expand into more sub options
  6. Select "Proxies" option at the sub option and see the right window



  7. Check the option box "Direct connection to the Internet

  8.  
  9. Press "OK" button to apply the changes


Clear Memory / Disk Cache

  1. Launch the Netscape Communicator Program
  2. From the main Windows , select "Edit" > "Preferences..."



  3. You should see a dialog window appears as shown below



  4. From the left window , go to "Advanced" option ( last option )
  5. Double click onto the "Advanced" option to expand into more sub options
  6. Select "Cache" option at the sub option and see the right window



  7. Click on "Clear Memory Cache" and "Clear Disk Cache" button to clear cache
  8. Click on "OK" button to confirm to clear
