I cannot receive and send email

Mail Client : Macintosh Netscape Communicator 4.0

Configure Mail Server Setting

1. Launch the Netscape Navigator / Communicator 4
2. From the main windows , click on "Edit" > "Preferences..." option


 
3. You should see a dialog window appears as shown below


 
4. From the left side ( Category ) , click on "Identity" option at the "Mail & Groups"


 
5. Configure the settings as follows

Your Name :
any name you like

Email address :
userid@magix.com.sg

Reply-to address :
<blank>
 

6. From the left side ( Category ) , click on "Mail Server" option


 
7. Configure the settings as follows :

Mail server user name:
userid

Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:
 local = "mail.magix.com.sg"
 oversea / roaming = "roaming.singnet.com.sg" or "gricmail.gric.net"

Incoming mail server:
"smtp.magix.com.sg"
 

8. Select the Mail server type as "POP3"
9. Click on "OK" button to end the settings
