I cannot receive and send email

Mail Client : Netscape Messenger 4.5

Configure Mail Server Setting

1. Launch the Netscape Navigator / Communicator 4.5
2. From the main windows , click on "Edit" > "Preferences..." option


 
3. You should see a dialog window appears as shown below


 
4. From the left side ( Category ) , click on "Identity" option at the "Mail & Groups"


 
5. Configure the settings as follows

Your Name :
any name you like

Email address :
email address

Reply-to address ( only needed if different from email address ):
<blank> or alternate email address
 

6. From the left side ( Category ) , click on "Mail Servers" option


 
7. Configure the settings as follows :

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server:
 local = "mail.magix.com.sg"
 oversea / roaming = "roaming.singnet.com.sg" or "gricmail.gric.net"

Mail server user name :
userid
 

8. From the "Incoming Mail Servers" option , 

select the connection and click on "Edit" button

 
9. Configure the settings as follows :

Server name: smtp.magix.com.sg

Server type : POP3 Server

User Name : userid
 

10. Click on "OK" button 2 times to end the settings
